I've spent 17 years in data — as an analyst, a consultant, a team lead, and eventually a Head of Data building functions from scratch. I've hired a lot of data people along the way, and I've watched even talented ones get stuck because nobody told them how the game actually works.

I do a small number of mentoring engagements with data analysts and early managers who are figuring out their next move — whether that's a first leadership role, a step into a new industry, or just getting unstuck from a career that's stopped moving.

I'm not a career coach. I'm someone who's been on the other side of the table — writing job specs, running interviews, deciding who gets promoted — and I'll tell you what I actually see from there.

If that sounds useful, happy to talk.
