Overview

What this site collects

This is a static informational website. It does not run a server-side database, user accounts, or contact forms. Data processing is limited to:

  • Server access logs (Hetzner Cloud VPS) — handled by the hosting provider
  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager (only with your consent)
  • External booking links — Google Calendar appointment scheduling (Google's own service, only when you click through)

Server logs

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on a Hetzner Cloud server (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). When you visit any page, your browser automatically transmits information such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp. This data is stored in server access logs.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in detecting errors and ensuring server security.
Retention: Typically 7 days; governed by Hetzner's data processing agreement.
Processor agreement: Hetzner operates under a Data Processing Agreement compliant with Art. 28 GDPR.

Analytics

Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager

With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 loaded via Google Tag Manager to collect anonymised statistics about how visitors use the site (pages visited, session duration, traffic source). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics sets cookies and transfers data to Google servers, which may be located in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, providing an adequate level of data protection under Art. 45 GDPR.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your freely given, specific, and informed consent.
Data processor: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Retention: Event data is retained for 14 months (configured in Google Analytics).
Withdrawal: You may withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You may also prevent tracking globally by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Booking

Google Calendar appointment scheduling

The "Book a call" links on the Contact page lead to Google's appointment scheduling service (calendar.app.google). Clicking those links takes you to a Google-hosted page where Google's own privacy policy applies. This website does not embed the booking widget and does not receive or store any data you submit there.

Data processor: Google LLC (see above).
Legal basis for the link: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in enabling prospective clients to book consultations.
